The PFM BLIZZARD is a high-speed horizontal flow wrapper designed for efficient packaging of products like bubble gum and toffee. It forms packages using hot or cold seal wrapping material, ensuring precise three-seal formation. This machine boasts a capacity of up to 2,000 candies or 1,600 bubble gum pieces per minute, with optional sticker insertion at 1,500 units per minute. The BLIZZARD is powered by brushless servo-motors and features an advanced axis motion controller and PLC for smooth operation. Its design includes a cantilevered structure with mechanical and electronic components neatly positioned at the back, allowing for easy access and maintenance. Key features include a color touch screen HMI and a high-speed film splicing system capable of operating at 110 meters per minute without slowing down, rejecting only one product. The machine's in-line cutter uses an elliptical movement to ensure clean cuts without residual waste. The BLIZZARD offers maximum precision with an electronic print registration system for each package and supports remote diagnostics via a modem or ethernet connection, allowing for remote troubleshooting through the PFM Tele-Service System.
